Victory in School Expulsion Appeal: Justice Restored for Our Client

We are thrilled to announce a major win by Kaitlin McCaffrey for our client in an appeal from a school board expulsion hearing. Initially expelled following a extremely flawed investigation, our client was unfairly penalized without a reasonable chance to review the evidence and adequately prepare for and present his defense. We felt confident that the school board reached the wrong conclusion and filed an appeal. On appeal, we presented the cumulative issues which arose during the underlying expulsion hearing, and brought to the attention of the Court of Common Pleas that the school board’s decision was contrary to the weight of the evidence. The Court agreed and our client is no longer forced to carry the stigma of an expulsion on his record.
